How do I work without a printer?
The module works without a printer: the tablet figures the date, you write it with a marker on the wrap or a blank label, and the register keeps the proof.
- Build the batch as usual: products, count, first name.
- Tap Record without printing (3). With no printer declared, it is the only button offered, with the reminder “write the date with a marker”.
- Copy on each pan the use-by date shown in the batch.
In the register, the line reads “not printed (date written by hand)”; Active shelf-life tracking, if you turn it on, counts these products like the others. The same button also serves the day the roll runs out. Many kitchens start this way and buy a printer later.
