How do I know what must be discarded today?
Turn on Active shelf-life tracking in Settings › Modules › Use-by labels. From then on, every label made, printed or hand-written, stays “active” until the product is discarded or used.
- In the morning, the home screen shows “2 labelled products to discard today”, and the module shows the To discard (2) button (or Active shelf lives when nothing is due).
- The list is sorted into Expired, Today, Tomorrow, Later, each line with “labelled …” and the first name.
- Walk the reach-ins, tick the lines (or Select all), tap your first name, then Discarded (2) or Used (2).
The register notes “discarded” or “used” on the original label, with who and when. A label entered by mistake is not “discarded”: cancel it from History, with the reason.
