Does it work without a network in the walk-in?
Yes. The photo is saved on the tablet first, then uploaded: no signal in the walk-in or the dry storage changes nothing to the gesture.
- An amber banner “1 photo waiting to be uploaded, it will be sent automatically when the network is back” shows while a photo is waiting. Nothing to do: it goes out by itself, even if the app was closed in between.
- The photo already counts in “today”, shows in My photos and in the register, marked “Photo not yet uploaded” until it is sent.
- The banner turns red only if a photo could not be sent after several tries: tap Retry on the banner, and tell the manager if it stays red.
Several tablets and phones can be used in the same kitchen: each one sees the others' photos once they have been uploaded.
