How does traceability work?

The idea: when a product is opened or used, take a photo of its label. That photo is the record: it carries the date, time, meal period and the crew member's first name, and it lands in the module's register line by line, with its thumbnail.

Supplier, product, lot number, use-by date and dish prepared are optional; they help you find a label faster with Lot search. Nothing is ever erased: a cancelled photo stays in the register, struck through, with the reason.

You open the register from History in the module, or from Inspection mode at the top of the home screen, for any period, and it goes out with Export PDF or Send, photos included. It is the traceback record the health department and the FDA Food Traceability Rule (FSMA 204) expect: where each food came from, with proof.
