How do I record an oil change?

An oil change is logged without typing any reading, in the same Frying oil module.

  1. Tap the tank, then switch to the "Oil changed" tab.
  2. Add a "Note (optional)" if you want to keep a detail (fresh oil brand, tank cleaned).
  3. Pick the name under "Who" and tap "Validate".

The tank tile then shows "Oil changed on" with the date, until the next reading. An oil change counts as a reading for the day's task: nothing else to enter. In the log ("History"), oil changes and readings sit on the same list, dated and signed, so "when was the fryer oil last changed?" is answered in one look.

Tip: if the reading was over the limit and you changed the oil right away, log the out-of-range reading first with its corrective action, then the oil change: the log shows both the problem and the fix.
