Why are some points already answered when I open the audit?
When you open it, the tablet reads the last 30 days of your logs (cooler temperatures, receiving, cleaning schedule and chemicals, reheating, fryer oil, date labels, traceability, documents) and answers the points it knows: “17 points already filled from the last 30 days. You can change everything.” In the United States, up to 17 of the 56 points fill in this way.
- Prefilled: the answer is set, with its reason under the point, for example “2 records over 30 days, 1 non-conformity handled”. Non-conformities all handled give Satisfactory; a non-conformity left without corrective action gives Unsatisfactory; no record over the period gives To watch (“nothing proves it”).
- Suggested, please confirm: the tablet only knows part of the point (date marking, thawing, safety data sheets); confirm it after your walk-through.
- Edited: you changed a prefilled answer; the audit keeps both the original answer and its reason.
You stay in charge of every answer: a point Satisfactory according to the log switches to To watch with one tap if what you see is worse. A kitchen that validates its tasks every day therefore starts the audit with a good part of the work already done.
