How are the score and the verdict calculated, and where does the short report come from?

The score counts the answered points other than Not applicable: Satisfactory is worth 1, To watch 0.5, Unsatisfactory 0. 54 satisfactory and 2 to watch out of 56 give 98%.

The verdict is not an average; it reads the way an inspection does: Very satisfactory when everything is satisfactory; Satisfactory as soon as one point is to watch; To improve as soon as one point is unsatisfactory; Fix urgently when a point marked critical is unsatisfactory (cold holding at 41 °F, hot holding at 135 °F, approved source, employee health, hand washing…), whatever the score, like a priority violation on an FDA Food Code form.

Under Audit result, the Short report is written automatically in three paragraphs: strengths, points to watch, one piece of advice for the coming weeks. It needs the network: with no network, the answers are saved and the report shows up as soon as the tablet reconnects. Below it, By chapter shows one bar per chapter, then To fix and To watch list the points concerned.
