Can a unit be logged only once a day?
Yes. The rhythm is set unit by unit: a reading is expected at every meal period checked under Services concerned, in Settings › Modules › Temperature log.
- A walk-in used all day: check Lunch and Dinner, it is logged twice a day.
- A back-up freezer: check a single meal period, it is logged once a day.
- A unit with no meal period checked expects nothing: you can still log it by hand, but it creates no task.
The meal periods themselves (name and hours) are set under Settings › Modules › Services. The task shows up in Today at the right time, then moves to Overdue if the meal period ends without a reading.
Tip: a morning reading does not count for lunch. Every checked meal period expects its own reading.
