How do I add, rename or remove a zone or an item?
At setup, your template (restaurant, commissary, institutional kitchen) pre-filled the zones and items. Everything can be changed in Settings › Modules › Cleaning.
- Add a zone at the bottom of the screen: give it a name ("Dish pit", "Dry storage").
- Inside a zone, Add an item: its name, then its frequency, product and dilution on the same sheet.
- To rename, open the zone or item and tap Rename. To remove, tap Delete (or Delete zone, which takes all its items with it).
A deleted item is no longer offered or expected, but cleanings already logged stay in the register: nothing is erased. Once the plan is set, Print the plan gives you the PDF to post in the kitchen, zone by zone, with the frequency, product, dilution, method and contact time; print it again after any change.
Tip: a piece of equipment you do not have (a blast chiller, a fryer) is best deleted right away, or it will end up overdue.
