How do I log a reheating?
Open the Reheating module. The entry panel sits on the right of the tablet (on a phone, tap "Add a reheating"). Naming the dish is optional; when you do, it shows in the register.
- Under "Start", set with − and + the temperature of the food as it leaves the walk-in or reach-in (the tablet suggests 41 °F) and the time. Date and time change with a tap.
- When the probe thermometer reads 165 °F or more, enter the temperature and time under "End". The rule shows underneath (≥ 165 °F within 2 h) and the elapsed time and the verdict appear right away.
- Tap "Add to batch". Several dishes reheated together? Enter them one after another: they stack under "To validate".
- Tap your first name under "Who", then "Validate (2)": the whole batch is saved with your name and the time.
The module never nags: it is not a task due every meal period, it records what the team enters and files it by meal period within the day. Food pulled at 10:30 and served at lunch is entered while plating, with the start time set back. With no Wi-Fi, the entry is kept on the tablet and sent on its own when the connection comes back.
Tip: if you never reheat leftovers, turn the module off under Settings › Modules › "Active modules"; it disappears from the kitchen bar.
